Fast Rising Master Musician Dewey Via Is THE ACT To Catch In 2014
New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Mindsweep Entertainment) For true music lovers of all genres, when it comes to great guitarists of course, certain names will always come to mind; Eric Clapton, Steve Morse, Jeff Beck, Chet Adkins, Les Paul, Eddie Van Halen, Jimi Hendrix, Warren Haynes, Dickey Betts, Duane Allman, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Steve Vai, Joe Satriani, B B King, Jimmy Page, Mark Knopfler, Albert King, Albert Collins, Randy Rhoads, Carlos Santana, just to name a few, are definitely, deservingly and will always be on the top of the list.

And though you haven't seen his name in Rolling Stone Magazine's or Guitar Player Magazine's list of all time greatest guitarists YET, THE name to take notice of in 2014, when it comes to smoking hot guitarists, if you're not already a fan or haven't already heard of him, you certainly soon will be. This prolific picker's name is Dewey Via, and he is on the rise with a profound quickness. ...And rightfully so. (I would even bet all the above named guitar greats would also be impressed and can certain respect Dewey Via's mind blowing prowess.) Yeah, he's THAT GOOD!

How good is he you ask? (And I'm so glad you did...) One can check him out for one's self at: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yO4VKzZ8wY0. ...THAT GOOD. From that video link it's easy to see that there is no PR hype here, as the ever growing number of Dewey Via's devoted fans everywhere will certainly attest.

For as prolific of a picker Dewey Via unquestionably is, equal are his talents as a songwriter and a vocalist as one can also check out first hand by visiting Dewey Via's Reverb Nation site at:

https://www.reverbnation.com/deweyviaandlickngravey. (Do be sure to crank it up when listening.)

The songs, "Daniella's Song" and "Missing You" are excellent examples of both his immense talent on vocals as well as his songwriting capabilities. All the tracks listed on that site are Dewey Via originals from his independently produced CD, "Likes of the Man in Black, which is an excellent CD from beginning to end.

Besides being nothing short of a true master musician as a prolific guitarist, outstanding songwriter and powerful vocalist, another reason for Dewey Via's rise in music industry success and imminent rise to even greater success is that Dewey Via is a master musician of multiple genres in a very broad spectrum of styles ranging from Americana to rock, hard rock, alternative, blues, jazz, country, bluegrass to Gospel, and beyond, and pulls all of them off exceedingly well and in a signature style that is all his own.

Dewey Via's live performances are nothing short of absolutely riveting! You're not going to be able to take your eyes or ears off of the man as his performances are super dynamic, and brings a 'personality' back to the stage that is larger than life, to spite his 'very comfortable and relatable down home style'.

The combination of his immense talents, the vast amount broad audience and marketing appeal generated by his mastery of multiple genres, and his rich amount of true showmanship that Dewey Via brings to any stage, is such a truly winning combination that with only one time seeing Dewey Via performing live, YOU'RE HOOKED and will definitely be coming back for more. ...(And this is coming from a long time music industry exec who has worked with hundreds of major headlining acts and is no easy sell.)

Dewey Via is not only swiftly gaining recognition on a national and worldwide scale with music lovers in a number of genres everywhere, Dewey Via is considered as amongst the best as a 'musician's musician'; and with his immense talent, is attracting the attention of some pretty impressive veteran performers as well. For instance, one of the drummers credited on Dewey's "Likes of the Man in Black" album is none other than Stan Lynch, of Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers fame. Performing on bass in The Dewey Via Band is Banner Thomas, founding member and former bass player of Molly Hatchet.

From the very first time I ever heard Dewey Via performing live, my mind was sufficiently blown, I was definitely thoroughly well rocked and knew immediately that I wanted to work with him. (And again, I'm no easy sell.)

Fast forward and long story short, this past week, while working with another client, world class and legendary performer Johnny Neel, (former member of The Allman Brothers Band, and The Dickey Betts Band and numerous other credits), I turned Johnny Neel on to Dewey Via, then talked to Dewey Via about Johnny Neel, and subsequently, fans of both outstanding acts will be able to see The Dewey Via Band opening for Johnny Neel this year on selected tour dates. (And one can certainly bet that those are going to be some smoking hot concerts and/or festival dates that music lovers definitely do not want to miss!) We at Mindsweep Entertainment & Promotions will be working closely with both, Dewey Via and Johnny Neel all throughout 2014 and we promise to keep fans of both updated on those upcoming concert and festival dates.

Besides rocking out a number of national and worldwide press releases for both Dewey Via and Johnny Neel all throughout 2014, (in which we will definitely keep fans of both updated), both media, (TV and radio), and booking campaigns are underway for both. With Dewey Via being home based out of St. Augustine, Florida and Johnny Neel based out of Nashville, Tennessee, it stands to reason that the tour will kick off in the Southeastern US region, (Florida, Georgia, Tennessee, Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana), then on to the rest of the US. Johnny Neel has expressed interest in extending his tour internationally to such destinations as Canada, Mexico, The Caribbean Nations, Central and South American nations, as well as European nations, (Austria, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Georgia, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Moldova, Monaco, Montenegro, The Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Russia, San Marino, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, and of course, all of the United Kingdom); Asian destinations such as Japan, Singapore, Thailand, etc; and certainly Australia. ...And of course, anywhere and everywhere fans demand. So the distinct possibility exists for Dewey Via fans beyond the borders of the United States to catch The Dewey Via Band performing live.

...And if you have not already caught Dewey Via performing live yet, you'll definitely want to!
