Former Death Row Records Rapper, YGD Top Dogg, Releases Debut Album 'The Renegade'
New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ 2SPR) Former Death Row Records recording artist YGD Top Dogg, has released his debut album, "The Renegade", independently via his website DarkSideMusic.net.

YGD the celebrity gangsta rapper has been steady in the lab pursuing his career as a rapper and producer, since leaving Death Row Records and former C.E.O. Suge Knight, who are both still on good terms. "I have nothing but the utmost respect for Big Simon." He added, "I'm gratefull and fortunate that he even gave me the opportunity to shine, and work which such heavy hitters at The Row like 2pac, Dj.Quik and more."

Real name Derek Wade, YGD was born in Grenada, Mississippi but raised in Compton, California, where he gets his street smarts, knowledge, creativity, as well as his gangsta lyrics, basketball & art skills. The illustrations seen on Dark Side Music website, are created by Top himself.

Top Dogg rose to fame, with a guest appearance on the "All About U" single, from the 2Pac Shakur's Greatest Hits album in 1998, and the "Suge Knight Presents: CHRONIC 2000" compilation, released by Death Row Records in 1999, which delivered a music video for Top Dogg's single "Cinderfella". The soundtrack to 2Pac's movie "Gang Related", also released by Death Row, featured Top Dogg's very first cut "Going Back To Cali", a controversial song from Los Angeles to New York.

Top Dogg's debut album "The Renegade", is sounding hotter than ever. The young solo artists ambition is to form his own empire. YGD is determined to put out music consistently, with at least a dozen up and coming artist, and producers. Top plans on taking his label, Dark Side Music, to the next level, as a household name, or just the next big thing.

YGD Top Dogg "The Renegade", available now at www.darksidemusic.net.
