Girl Pow-R Recently Performed At The CNE's Aurora Winter Festival

New York, NY (Top40 Charts) During last year's Holiday season, fans were able to celebrate a festive performance from Ontario's own Girl Pow-R . The group, fresh off the heels of their Santa Claus Parade performances, took to the stage at the Aurora Winter Festival.

Presented by the CNE, the Aurora Winter Festival was held at Ontario Place November 22 to January 5, 2019. The festival boasted a variety of activities and performances such as a frozen skating pond, a 170-foot tube slide, and a food garden.

Girl Pow-R performed on stage on Saturday, December 7th from 5 pm-7 pm, Monday, December 23rd from 7 pm to 9 pm, and Friday, December 27th from 4 pm to 6 pm.

Girl Pow-R, which consists of girls ages 11 to 17, has had a highly successful year. Two months ago the group released a music video for the single "This Is Us," which aimed to reflect the group's message of social change. The group is scheduled to perform at the Kidapalooza Family Festival in Ontario in February.

Girl Pow-R launched on International Women's Day in 2017. Since then, the group has supported causes such as education for girls, youth homelessness, and health advocacy. The pop group is represented by Canyon Entertainment Group, an Ontario-based artist management company.
