Good Neighbours Release Debut EP
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) The feel-good trailblazers Good Neighbours share their long-awaited debut, self-titled EP. The Good Neighbours EP is available digitally, on vinyl and CD and lands alongside the duo kicking off the UK leg of their autumn tour this evening.
The 5-track EP includes one new song, the previously unheard "Weekend Boy", alongside previously released tracks "Keep It Up", "Daisies", "Bloom" and "Home" - the latter of which has now amassed 350 million global streams, a live performance on 'Jimmy Kimmel Live!', 15 consecutive weeks in the UK Top 40 and platinum in the US - the only Platinum certification for an Alternative debut single released & certified in 2024. This week it was also announced that 'Daisies' will be featured as part of the official EA FC soundtrack.

Speaking about their latest single, "Weekend Boy," the band reveals, "We wrote this song about the stages of figuring out whether or not you're ready to dive in the deep end of a relationship. It's about the struggle of wrestling with good feelings about someone after a while out of the game". The single is released alongside a 'Live From The Neighbourhood' performance, the fourth in a series of visuals that accompany all singles to date from the EP.

Recently, Good Neighbours covered Lana Del Rey's "Video Games" for Spotify Singles. It follows their cover of Sabrina Carpenter's hit single "Espresso" for Triple J's Like A Version, which led to a swathe of calls from fans to release their version officially, which they did earlier this month. This exceptional cover, alongside covers of Taylor Swift's "Wildest Dreams" and a mashup of MGMT's "Time To Pretend" and Lorde's "Perfect Places", as recorded for Jack Saunders show on BBC Radio 1, will be available as bonus tracks on the vinyl and CD formats of the EP.

Optimism and connection are key ingredients of Good Neighbours. Their music is an amalgamation of their emotive indie influences of yesteryear such as MGMT, Passion Pit and Bleachers and has resonated with fans globally throughout the year with their joyous project going from strength to strength. They came together to create an indie-euphoric dreamscape of sound and vision for a subdued generation. Live, they bring the inclusive party to fans everytime - racing through the London gig circuit and beyond, Scott and Oli enjoyed a packed summer festival season playing a whole host of key slots for the first time - including shows at Latitude, Boardmasters, All Points East and Reading and Leeds - and drawing the biggest crowds of the weekend for a new act at all. Support on the UK headline dates comes from Esme Emerson & from Joe P on European headline dates. Full tour schedule below.
