LOS ANGELES (Top40 Charts/ Grove PR) - On Wednesday, August 19 at 8 p.m. Grammy Award-winner and four-time nominee Michelle Branch will perform live at the Donate Life Concert Series at The Grove continuing the summer concert series presented by Palm, Inc. and the new Palm Pre phone. Branch, who has captivated audiences with her distinguished vocals and talented guitar playing, garnered critical acclaim and won a Grammy Award for Best Pop Collaboration with Vocals when she recorded the mega-hit 'The Game of Love' with Santana. Branch expanded her fan base and won over critics with her first country smash hit album 'Stand Still, Look Pretty' by The Wreckers which was nominated for both a CMA Award and a Grammy Award establishing her as a fixture in country music. Her most recent project is the soon to be released 'Everything Comes and Goes.' The free concert will also feature an opening performance by Jason Castro, third runner-up from Season 7 of American Idol. The first contestant to ever play an instrument on the show and a season favorite, the multi-talented singer and guitarist will release his debut album with Atlantic Records later this year. From August 18 to the 30, guests will find a Palm Pre Experience Center at The Grove offering visitors a unique, hands-on demonstration of the new Palm Pre phone, including quick one-on-one tutorials; larger groups can also observe demonstrations on several LCD screens.
