BATTLE GROUND, Wash. (ROBRECORDS) - Grammy Award-winning songwriter Rob Hotchkiss, formerly with the band Train, has released his first solo album, Midnight Ghost. The versatile Hotchkiss - who sang, played guitar, bass, piano, and harmonica - teamed up with original and current members of Counting Crows, Steve Bowman (drums) and Dave Bryson, who produced one of the album's eleven tracks. The album will be released independently on Hotchkiss's own ROBRECORDS. "I've been waiting my whole life to make this record - finally something I can be 100% proud of," Rob Hotchkiss said. The record was produced by Hotchkiss with Jerry Becker at The River House, in southern Washington. Midnight Ghost is available through https://www.RobHotchkiss.com, and will not be distributed in retail outlets. Demo versions of two songs (Mr. Green and It's Alright) are available as free downloads from the site; the first album track, Rainmaker, is available in its final version at https://www.robhotchkiss.com/rainmaker.mp3 For more information about Rob Hotchkiss or for interviews, contact Pam Haines at: (800) 715-1578 or by email at [email protected].
