Heiress To Atlas Announce Invigorating New Single "Bullet"
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Electro-pop duo, Heiress to Atlas, released their latest single Bullet, an explosive, electronic tune. Full of catchy harmonies and an invigorating percussive edge, the song is a vibrant dance pop masterpiece. Bullet is the second single off their upcoming Spark EP and is available on iTunes now.

Building upon the beat-driven and playful craft of their breakout single, Alien Boy, Heiress to Atlas shows a more spirited side to their music with Bullet. The track hits the ground running with sharp percussion and lively synths that pulse like ammunition firing from a pistol. Beat maker, Marc Thomas animated electronic genius and lead singer, Vidya Sethus commanding vocals instantly catch the ear. Reminiscent of bands like Vampire Weekend and Phantogram, there is hardly a pause in the exhilarating effects of this otherworldly anthem. While the melody gets audiences on their feet, a second listen to the lyrics behind Sethus enlivening vocals, reveals a powerful and relatable message. Bullet is about missing someone that you no longer have in your life, Sethu says of the single. Its about wanting things to have gone differently, but accepting that even if they didnt, the feeling of missing that person might be better than not having known them at all. With this inventive blend of genuine lyricism and playful synth styling, Heiress to Atlas delivers versatile ingenuity to the electro-pop genre.

Growing up in Singapore, Vidya Sethu was drawn to music early in life, beginning to sing before the age of three. She took vocal lessons and sang in a choir, but the first big step she took towards music was starting a band in high school. Post-graduation, Sethu did not intend to do music professionally; however, when her collegiate pursuits at Yale proved unsatisfying, she left for California. In Los Angeles, she began auditing classes at Musicians Institute and eventually enrolled, deciding to pursue music full time. In May of 2014, Marc Thomas posted an online ad expressing interest in starting a band. Through their mutual love for electronic pop, Sethu and Thomas connected immediately and Heiress to Atlas was born. Influenced by acts like Sia and Holychild, the pair worked tirelessly and in just six months wrote and produced their upcoming EP, Spark.

The impeccable pairing of Sethus gripping vocals and Thomas innovative way with melodies is expertly displayed in Bullet, producing an ethereal world of pop. With this release, anticipation and excitement is rapidly growing for the 2016 issue of Heiress to Atlas EP, Spark. Bullet can now be found on iTunes.
