New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Pop-Rock band Iglu & Hartly make a triumphant return with their latest single 'Swayze'. Having been on hiatus for 15 years the Colorado-formed, LA-based pop-rock group are back with a bang. The synth-heavy group previously cut their teeth throughout the mid-2000s gaining acclaim with their UK top 10 hit 'In This City'.

'Swayze' showcases the band at their best, an ode to 80's legend Patrick Swayze, the track focuses on themes of eternal youth as frontman Jarvis Anderson takes us on a journey recounting the tales of a reckless lover worthy of a Swayze character. The track has everything you'd expect from an Iglu & Hartly offering, utilising their trademark vocal stylings with 80's inspired guitar lines, impactful synth and pounding drums, culminating in a pop-rock banger that achieves the perfect mix of 80's nostalgia and modern-day pop sensibilities.

Frontman Jarvis Anderson explains the track further, "While writing this song I imagined a femme fatale whose wild spirit could only be matched by a man like one of Swayze's iconic characters."

Conceived in the foothills of Colorado by singer, writer and producer Jarvis Anderson. Iglu & Hartly exploded onto the scene in 2008 with their debut album '& Then Boom' via Mercury Records. The album included their hit single 'In This City' which peaked at number 5 in the official UK singles chart, charted at number 35 on the US Billboard alternative charts and featured across multiple charts throughout Europe. Known for their distinctive sound and enigmatic stage presence the band garnered critical acclaim from the likes of BBC Radio 1, NME and SPIN to name a few along with an extensive touring schedule throughout the UK, US and Europe. A consummate entertainer, whose visceral stage presence and frontman chops drove the band to play main slots at prestigious festivals Coachella and Isle of White, Jarvis Anderson describes his sound as having a bit of everything- rapping and singing, synths, guitars, 80's style soundscapes. "I think that's why Iglu & Hartly attracts music fans with eclectic taste", Jarvis concludes.

As with the highs so come the lows, the band was then unceremoniously dropped by their record label causing the original members to go their separate ways leaving the project dormant for over 10 years before uniting once again, headlining the Hermosa Beach Summer Series music festival in 2019. This reinvigorated Jarvis's passion for the project, officially releasing their first single in over 10 years 'Cooler' in 2020. Now free from the shackles of a label and industry politics Iglu & Hartly looks to capture their original goal of creating their own brand of captivating, synth-heavy music with their latest single 'Swayze'.
