Iridium Hosts Club-Favorites NRBQ, Kenny Garrett, Mike Stern, And Red Hot Chili Peppers' Chad Smith In December

New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Shore Fire Media) The Iridium celebrates the holidays this December by welcoming back some of the club's most beloved regulars, from Rock and Roll Hall of Famers to jazz legends. See below for just a few of the highlights:

Dec 5: NRBQ - NRBQ's versatile eclecticism has earned them fans from Bob Dylan and Paul McCartney to Elvis Costello and Keith Richards, and luminaries including Bonnie Raitt and Dave Edmunds have recorded their songs. The current lineup centers around founding member and keyboard iconoclast Terry Adams.

Dec 6-8: Kenny Garrett Band - Considered one of the preeminent alto saxophonists of his generation, Grammy-winner Kenny Garret came to early fame during his youth as a member of the Duke Ellington Orchestra and Miles Davis' band. He'll return to The Iridium for another three-night run.

Dec 12-14: Chad Smith's Bombastic Meatbats - Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Inductee/Grammy winning drummer Chad Smith (Red Hot Chili Peppers, Chickenfoot), keyboardist Ed Roth (Sophie B. Hawkins, Coolio, Brothers Johnson), guitarist Jeff Kollman (Jill Scott, Glenn Hughes), and bassist Kevin Chown (George Benson, Uncle Kracker) reinvent and introduce jazz fusion to a new generation of fans every night onstage.

Dec 18-22: Mike Stern Band featuring Randy Brecker, Dennis Chambers & Anthony Jackson - In a career that spans three decades and a discography that includes more than a dozen eclectic and innovative recordings, six-time Grammy nominee Mike Stern has established himself as one of the premier jazz and jazz-fusion guitarists and composers of his generation.
