Irish Singer & Songwriter Samuel Blaney Evokes The Essence Of Autumn With New Single 'Paradise'
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Samuel Blaney returns with sophomore single 'Paradise', another tender and intimate production that encapsulates another transition of the seasons. As with his debut track 'Ember', which chronicled the changes from winter to spring, this new release is about transformation of our world from vibrant green to multi-faceted amber, ochre, and vermillion. It's the second in a series of tender love songs from the singer and songwriter whose own life intersects between nature and music.

As we stand on the threshold of winter's silence, Samuel Blaney seeks to treasure this season's evanescing moments: "Paradise is about gentle holding of fine threads. A cherishing of echoes. The fading and the glowing; Autumn."

This message is conveyed through an ambient production into which soft and intricate acoustic guitar notes, hand-tapped percussion, and waning strings are delicately interwoven. With production from Adem, the artist offers a soothing vocal performance full of poignant emotion that portrays the romantic element of 'Paradise'.

Rather than being two separate releases, 'Ember' and 'Paradise' are designed to work in tandem:
"The songs are made when feeling lost. They aren't about how I feel but how I imagine things could feel. So I made everything full, used lyrics that I might blush at for being too … romantic, feminine, intimate, loving. I was trying to light up a dark area that wasn't responding to much else. I only got there by writing first with just my voice and then inviting in some sounds. And by making the songs in Ireland. It's then fine to work with Adem or other folk because I already have the poems and melodies and feeling in place."

It's evident that Blaney's themes, content, textures and lyrics are deeply embedded in the natural environment; a setting he both lives and works in, whether that be in his native West of Ireland or adopted California, the two places he calls home.
