Israeli Superstar Noa To Perform At Pico Union Project
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) The Pico Union Project is hosting Achinoam Nini (also known as Noa), Israel's leading international singer/songwriter, on February 8th.

Noa has shared the stage with superstars such as Sting, Pat Metheny, Quincy Jones, Stevie Wonder and Andrea Bocelli. She has also taken her fair share of hits as an outspoken peace activist. "It is easy to point fingers and become extremely self-defensive when bombs are falling…each side huddles in his own corner, sticking with his own, blaming the other…," said Noa.

She is Israel's Goodwill Ambassador for the UN, an activist, and a passionate supporter of peace and dialogue between Israel and Palestine. She is also the first Jew ever to perform at the Vatican. "We are proud to host her at the Pico Union Project," said Craig Taubman. Her voice is more than simple song; it is a voice that says: "We can and must do everything in our power to leave this world just a bit better than we found it."

Noa, together with her longstanding collaborator, guitarist Gil Dor, will bring songs, stories and memories to the Pico Union Project on the evening of February 8th. This will be her only performance in Los Angeles.
