New York, NY (Top40 Charts) JAMESDAVIS, a sibling band hailing from Los Angeles, CA explores relationships, love and life on their new EP entitled MASTERPEACE, out today.
The rising band out of Inglewood, California threads together raw and real stories that appeal to any audience but feel at home within the group's cocktail of R&B, hip-hop, and rock. The trio preceded its release with a stream of hypnotic and heartfelt singles: "Dodger Black," "Something To Talk About," and "You Light My Fire." Respectfully, each song is layered in relatable themes: from navigating the gritty streets, to conflict resolution, to the blissful feel of falling in love. Their sound is self-produced; fraternal twins Jess and Rey and younger brother AusTon co-write songs; Rey plays guitar; AusTon on keys; Jess bears her soul through her passionate singing. Their chemistry is versatile—able to shift gears—whether AusTon leads with a raspy drawl on the smoky hip-hop rumble of "Dodger Black" or the calm lullaby of Rey and Jess on "Something To Talk About."
Currently, "
Something To Talk About" has emerged recently as the #1 Most Added at Urban AC. Most recently, they shared the follow-up "You Light My Fire," which fuses incendiary musicality to an unshakable hook.
