Los Angeles, CA (Top40 Charts/ Alliance Records) Winston Byrd is surely not a newcomer on the music scene. Graced by an illustrious career offering his diversified talent backing award-winning artists who happen to be the who's who of the musical landscape from R&B to Jazz. "The Jazz Network Worldwide was the perfect spot to springboard from for it is a community that supports artists who are 'stepping out' promoting their own music to a targeted audience. With Winston's multi-faceted musical expertise he's shared stages performing, recording and touring with a wide-variety of acclaimed Grammy winning recording artists, such as the R&B, Rock and Pop stars, the Stylistics, the Chi-Lites, Patti Austin, The Dells, The Grateful Dead, Blood, Sweat and Tears, Michael Bolton, Natalie Cole, Chaka Khan, Mary Wilson (of the Supremes), Usher. In addition, jazz artists Pieces Of A Dream, Claudio Roditi, Larry Coryell, James Moody, Paquito D' Rivera, Clark Terry, Lucky Peterson, Bernard Purdie, Diane Schurr, Shirley Horn, Chucho Valdes, David "Fathead" Newman, Abbey Lincoln and T.S. Monk. It was clearly Winston's time to step from sideman to a solo career with his sophmore CD project "Soul Searching" which is indicative of rising to an arena of authentic performance all his own.
