Jessie Reyez Releases "Ankles" And "Love In The Dark" (Dzeko Remix)
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Continuing to defy all expectations, Colombian-Canadian singer-songwriter Jessie Reyez returns today with another new song, "Ankles", off her highly anticipated debut album Before Love Came To Kill Us out March 27 via FMLY/Island/Universal Music. The track is an emotionally raw and empowering break-up anthem steeped in confidence, braggadocio, and payback. "Ankles" follows yesterday's release of "Love in the Dark" (Dzeko Remix). Canadian producer Dzeko capitalizes on Jessie's lyricism and raw vocals while incorporating percussive and moving beat production with captivating synth textures, resulting in what's sure to be a club-ready hit.

Both songs arrive on the heels of her latest release, "Love in the Dark", which has already amassed over 15M combined streams worldwide, the announcement of her joining Billie Eilish's sold-out "WHERE DO WE GO? WORLD TOUR as direct support (kicking off Monday in Miami), and the recent announcement of Jessie's own headlining Before Love Came To Kill Us Tour with NYC, Chicago and Boston already sold-out. The tour has her hitting major markets this spring following her debut Coachella performance. Coinciding with this news, Reyez has dropped her first line of merch, inspired by the album, which is available exclusively for purchase online at her web store.

Reyez recently made her debut appearance on The Daily Show with Trevor Noah, where she joined Trevor as a couch guest and explained the exploration of love, heartbreak, and pain that has charged her sad songwriting. She explains," I feel like in life when you're conscious of the fact that highs and lows, black and whites, ups and downs have to exist, then sad songs have a little bit of love and even love songs have a little bit of sadness 'cause you know that love can't last, 'cause nobody gets out of love alive." Reyez also performed her raw, poignant, and politically charged love song "Far Away". Catch Jessie Reyez live as she brings her live show to a nearby city, stream/pre-order her upcoming debut album, and stay tuned for more news to follow.
