Jessie Reyez has released her sophomore EP Being Human in Public. The EP showcases some of her most personal and intimate moments throughout her life and is a collection of singles that Reyez shared this past summer such as "Apple Juice," "Sola," "Body Count Remix" feat.
Kehlani and Normani, "Fuck Being Friends," "Dear Yessie", "Imported" featuring JRM, and the final song from the EP "Saint Nobody" out today. On top of the EP release, Canada's Walk of Fame announced yesterday that singer Reyez will receive its 2018 Allan Slaight Honour.
In the past year alone, Reyez has made quite a name for herself with releasing a string of critically acclaimed songs, a support run on Halsey's US tour, performances at a plethora of music festivals, and collaborations with many notable artists from
Eminem to
Daniel Caesar. Reyez continues to be recognized by both critics and peers alike while remaining to be a stand out amongst them.
Reyez kicked off the Fall season by embarking on her headlining North American tour "Being Human on Tour" on October 11th with a sold-out show in Edmonton, Alberta. The 30-date trek has sold-out in Seattle, Portland, San Francisco,
Santa Ana, two shows in Los Angeles, Denver, Dallas, Miami, Milwaukee, Chicago, Washington D.C., New York, Boston, Montreal, and Toronto. Due to popular demand, additional dates were added to the Los Angeles and Toronto dates and shows have been upgraded to bigger venues in Houston, Detroit, Baltimore, London, and Ontario. The tour will wrap with two hometown shows at Toronto's Danforth

The excitement that ignited her fast-selling tour is no surprise after she won Canada's most prestigious Juno music award for 2018's Breakthrough Artist earlier this year and performed "Apple Juice" at the 2018 MTV Video
Music Awards, where she was also nominated for two awards including the Push Artist of the Year and Video With A Message for her standout and empowering music video "Gatekeeper," from 2017's debut EP Kiddo. Reyez was also recently nominated for the upcoming 2018 MTV
