Fairfax, VA (Top40 Charts/ Webster & Associates) Joan Osborne has been added to the "Love For Levon" concert, to be held October 3rd at the Izod Center in East Rutherford, NJ. Osborne joins acclaimed singer/songwriters Roger Waters, John Mayer, My Morning Jacket, Ray LaMontagne, Eric Church, Gregg Allman, Dierks Bentley, Marc Cohn, Warren Haynes, John Hiatt, Bruce Hornsby, The Levon Helm Band, Mavis Staples, Joe Walsh and Lucinda Williams in a concert honoring the musician, who died in April 2012. Osborne will also take part in the 32nd Annual John Lennon Tribute Concert on November 30th at Symphony Space in New York City, performing alongside Shelby Lynne, Dar Williams David Johansen, Judy Collins and more. In between the concerts, Osborne will be in Los Angeles for the opening of her acclaimed theatrical production, Love and Hate. The event, a conceptual interpretation of her songs through dance and film, will be held on November 3rd at the Valley Performing Arts Center.

Fans outside of the New York and Los Angeles areas will be able to enjoy Osborne's work in the coming days as well. Her song, "Midnight Train to Georgia' (from 2007's Breakfast In Bed album), will be featured on the CBS television show The Good Wife on Sunday, October 7th. And Osborne continues her support of the Half the Sky Movement (www.halftheskymovement.org), donating a song to help increase awareness for the organization and its documentary, Half the Sky, Turning Oppression into Opportunity for Women Worldwide, airing October 1 and 2 on PBS (check local listings). Emmylou Harris, Bonnie Raitt, Norah Jones and Sheryl Crow are among the other artists who have pledged songs for the film's 30 Songs / 30 Days campaign.

Joan Osborne has sold millions of albums and garnered multiple Grammy nominations throughout her critically and commercially acclaimed career. In addition to her own headlining tours, she has sung lead vocals for The Dead (formerly the Grateful Dead) and won a Grammy for her performance in the award-winning film Standing In The Shadows of Motown. Osborne's latest album, Bring it On Home, was named to The New York Daily News' "Top Ten" in music list, noting that "she recasts the blues with her own grind and shout" and the New Yorker delighted in her "voice containing a rich mixture of colors… now she's come back to the blues."
