New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Jooheon, Rapper of K-pop sensations Monsta X, releases highly anticipated debut EP DWTD out today through iTunes, Spotify and Soundcloud. The music video for the title track "Red Carpet" has garnered over 200K views within the first few hours of its release: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fUY8t8vv_DA. "Red Carpet" was co-produced by BOYCOLD and written by Jooheon, where he was able to express his artistic talent through lyricism. This track is filled with refined sounds, groovy rhythms and the story of a man falling in love.

Jooheon comments "I try to express the life that I'm living these days and thirst and passion about rapping". He emphasized that he wants to express, and show the world, everything about himself as a person, rapper, and member of Monsta X.

DWTD was co-produced by BOYCOLD, DAKSHOOD, Yeyo and 9f; who are all long companions of Jooheon. "Runaway" is a track infused with heavy beats and was co-produced with DAKSHOOD, featuring KILLAGRAMZ.

K-Pop sensations, Monsta X, have been on an fast-paced upward trajectory here in the U.S with OC Weekly calling them "power players in the K-pop game." They recently finished up their 7-stop stateside tour dates, where they captured the attention of notable press all over the U.S including Forbes, Access Hollywood, E!, iHeart, Mario Lopez, Buzzfeed, Allure and performances on both Good Day NY and Good Day LA. They've spent 38 consecutive weeks on the Billboard Social 50 chart above U.S artists such as Post Malone, Kanye West and more. The Connect: Dejavu, their most recent album, also found itself atop 2 of Billboard's major charts; Heatseekers at #8, World Albums at #2. Billboard noted, "...This was enough to land the guys at No. 2 on Billboard's World Albums chart and a No. 8 debut on Heatseekers Albums -- a new peak for the band on the chart that sees far fewer K-pop acts land entries.": https://www.billboard.com/articles/columns/k-town/8290397/monsta-x-best-us-sales-week-connect-dejavu
