LONDON, UK (Top40 Charts/ Megabop Records) - Hailing from Newry in County Antrim, Justin Grant is the latest exponent of the Emerald Isle's uncanny ability to produce charismatic, prolific and engaging singer-songwriters. The Northern Irishman, who first performed live at the age of 15, will put out his debut offering, Could You Cry For Me via Megabop Records, later this summer.

With 18 years of performing live across Ireland and the UK behind him, Grant's penchant for penning melody-driven contemporary songs blossomed on the back of a love for an eclectic range of stars including; The Kinks, The Mamas and Papas, The Beatles, David Bowie, Tim Hardin, Glen Campbell, Faith No More, Grant Lee
Buffalo, Nat King Cole and Traffic.

One of 15 self-penned tracks appearing on the Antrim troubadour's debut album Break The Wing, which will follow later this year, it includes opener and debut single Could You Cry For Me, which is in the mould of another Celtic Justin, Del Amitri frontman Justin Currie. Surfing on the back of the solo star's soothing croon, the track is soulful, uplifting and lyrically yearning with the pop-rocker revealing a tender and contemplative writing style.

If there's any justice, MOR-loving radio stations up and down the land will grant Justin copious amounts of airplay in the weeks and months to come.
