Each year on Australia Day Eve the lawns of Parliament House, Canberra, come alive when Australia Day Live kick-starts celebrations of our national day.

This year millions of Australians will watch Australia's hottest talent take the stage in a celebration of all that's great about Australia and being Australian.

Gretel Killeen, with Australian Idol pair James Mathison and Andrew G will MC a talent packed line up that includes our very own Kate DeAraugo, Rogue Traders, Thirsty Merc, Joel Turner and the Modern Day Poets, Jade McRae and Lior to name but a few!

Australia Day Eve Party
5:00pm - Pre-show entertainment
6:30pm - 7.15pm - Australian of the Year Awards announcement
8pm - 9:50pm - Concert

Get there early on Wednesday, January 25 2006 to get a good spot or get ready for a great night at home as the event gets broadcast live to the nation on Network Ten from 8.00pm (EST)
