New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Nashville-based quartet L.A. Edwards will release their new EP Blessings From Home, Vol. 1 on December 4th via Bitchin' Music Group/UMG. A collection of rollicking rhythms, robust riffing, and passionately plainspoken lyrics, Blessings From Home, Vol. 1 shares the band's own life stories through personal experiences, memories, and moments. Today they shared their new single, a bittersweet rocker titled "My Heart Broke."
"At the core, 'My Heart Broke' is a coming of age song," stated the band. "Life is a crazy ride and you lose some things along the way, sometimes for the better, sometimes for the worse."
"My Heart Broke" follows the release of lead single "Trouble," a slice-of-life viewpoint on a small town in America, which American Songwriter called "a sun-drenched soundscape."

Comprised of brothers Luke (vocals, guitar), Harry (drums) and Jay Edwards (keys) with Alex Vo (lead guitar), the band imparts graceful Laurel Canyon songcraft on groove-driven rock with sun-soaked twang. During 2020, they retreated to Bear Creek Studio in Washington to record with acclaimed producer Ryan Hadlock (Lumineers, Vance Joy, Foo Fighters). They were also joined by none other than Ron Blair (bass) and Steve Ferrone (drums) of Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers.

Following the release of their 2018 debut album True Blue, L.A. Edwards generated nearly half-a-million streams independently and were named "Flat out amazing" by No Depression. It led to performances with The Beach Boys, Jefferson Starship, Amanda Shires, and The White Buffalo as well as appearances at Pilgrimage Festival, Bumbershoot, Kaaboo, FloydFest, and AmericanaFest.
