LaPrima Releases New Single "No More"

New York, NY (Top40 Charts) LaPrima is a 21 year-old singer-and songwriter based in London, with Italian heritage. Her style and music is authentic, fresh, quirky, fun and arty, which leads the artist to communicate naturally with her audience. Starting with her debut single "Control" , she has been independently working on new music for the past 12 months whilst studying Popular Music Performance at BIMM London. Her single "No More" , it's an upbeat summery pop tune infused with delightful Latin, Pop and K-pop vibes throughout.
The rhythmic single gives the audience a glimpse of a potentially successful music career for the newcomer. The stylish self-proclaimed director of randomness moved to London in 2016 to pursue a career in music. She cites Dua Lipa, Banks, Frank Ocean, Raye as her recent influences of her current direction of music, and the likes of Michael Jackson, Massive Attack, Daft Punk and Amy Winehouse as her other influences.

About the song, she comments: I wrote this song when a girl really upset me as she was trying to adopt a manipulative behaviour towards me.
I came back home with a big amount of bad energy and I had this melody stuck in my head (the actual chorus). I needed to find a way to express it in full.
I wanted to write a pop song that wasn't too girly but which allowed everybody to relate to it, so I thought of telling a story told by a guy's point of view, which could be also interpreted as a gay song but as well as a metaphore for the higher and the lower self.
I started to jam this chorus "mmm no no no more with you don't waste my time " and the song came naturally to my mind.
