Music and "lovely, soulful and spare" by Brooklyn Vegan. The Fader premiered advance track "Into The Ether" and praised Vollebekk's "passionate Broken Social Scene-adjacent melodies wrapped in a casual, jammy atmosphere." The next day, "Into The Ether" was added to Spotify's New
Music Friday playlist in twelve countries and soared up their U.S. Viral 50 chart upon release. In December, Leif was named a World Cafe Next artist and he was WXPN's Artist to Watch for January 2017. Live sessions with World Cafe and WFUV will air this week, and 'Twin Solitude' is currently spinning on KCRW's Morning Becomes Eclectic and
Sirius XM's The Loft. Leif was profiled in this week's Village Voice, who proclaim "the album exudes a meditative joy."

Vollebekk wrote the ten-song 'Twin Solitude' while re-calibrating from a creatively taxing period on the road, a time where his own songs just didn't feel right to him. He began to find beauty in the everyday vignettes that made up his life at home and on the road: finding inspiration in a bike ride, a Moog synthesizer, a Nick
Drake record.
Leif's international tour will kick off on Tuesday at NYC's Mercury Lounge, and he's just announced new North American dates for April and May. This expanded tour will take him across the continent for the first time since releasing 'Twin Solitude.' A full list of dates is below.
