Lights Releases Sixth Studio Album "A6"
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) The electro-pop heavyweight Lights releases A6, her sixth studio album. The album is her most deeply personal yet - entirely written and produced by Lights. Its release was edged earlier this week with her latest earworm "CLINGY," alongside a sun-kissed new music video.
Always game to push herself, Lights made sure the arrival of A6 came with further surprises - including nine additional music videos that round out a complete visual album.

A6 is exactly what it says it is: Album Six. "In this landscape I realize it's a flex to make it this far doing what you love - not just in this industry, but in life," says Lights. "I've given most of my years to the creation of something beautiful and affirming and transportive. It's my humble offering to the world. Over years of self-reflection through this art form, l've found that happiness and peace and actualization comes from the tumult and depth and pain and bliss of every moment that we are given. It's remembering where we came from and never giving up on what we hope for."

Making this album, Lights pulled from the full, beautiful, range of experiences that make life what it is. "Past lessons, grief and loss, personal growth in a world that wants you to stay the same, the bliss of sensuality, and the recklessness of love," she expands. "It's everything you'd write down in a small A6-sized journal because saying it out loud is often somehow harder."

Lights is set to take A6 on the road with tour dates across Canada and the US, kicking off in Victoria on May 8.

Lights is many things all at once: Singer. Songwriter. Producer. Multi-instrumentalist. Comic book author. DJ. Artist. She's also unabashedly honest and unapologetically confident. Weaving in and out of alternative, indie, electronic, and dance, she makes manic pop irreverent of boundaries, yet reverent of truth. She speaks her heart musically and her mind lyrically. It's why her shadow over alternative music and culture continues to grow with streams in the hundreds of millions and widespread critical acclaim. She has sold out tours on multiple continents, made headlines from Coachella to Comic-Con, and powered collaborations with Travis Barker, deadmau5, Kaskade, Illenium, Steve Aoki, Mike Shinoda of Linkin Park, and more.
