Line-Up Expands For "Lean On Him: A Tribute To Bill Withers" At Carnegie Hall On October 1, 2015
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Branford Marsalis, Jonathan Butler and Anthony Hamilton have been added to 'LEAN ON HIM: A TRIBUTE TO BILL WITHERS" at Carnegie Hall on October 1st.

They will join Bill's other confirmed guests including: Ed Sheeran, D'Angelo, Aloe Blacc. Sheryl Crow, Amos Lee, Keb' Mo', Michael McDonald, Gregory Porter, Kathy Mattea, Ledisi and Dr. John.

The artists will perform Bill's legendary 1973 Live At Carnegie Hall album in its entirety (plus additional Withers classics). In a rare public appearance, Bill - who was inducted this year into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame -- will attend the concert.

The concert will be co-produced by Bill's wife Marcia Withers; City Winery's national director of programming Shlomo Lipetz; music director Greg Phillinganes; and Leo Sacks, who produced the 2014 Grammy Award-winning Complete Sussex & Columbia Albums Collection (Legacy Recordings).

All net proceeds will go to the Stuttering Association for the Young (SAY), a charity that Bill and Marcia actively support.
