London Pop Singer/Songwriter Izzy Staden Shares 'Addiction'
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Hailing from Greenwich, London, the young singer-songwriter crafts her unique vintage-pop sound from her love for music across all genres. Taking her cues from the silky production of acts like Dua Lipa, and incorporating elements of synth, alternative - Izzy Staden's music is deeply inspired by household names like Anne Marie and Charlie Puth.

Izzy Staden's musical career started at just 5 years old. After beginning piano lessons, her interest in music continued to grow, as did her desire to make music her reality. However, at 15 years old, Izzy became mentally unwell, and was placed in hospital meaning her music career came to an immediate halt. Speaking more on this, Izzy explained: "I was in and out of hospital until I turned 17, I had no idea what I wanted to do because I had missed a lot of school and found it difficult going back into an environment I had struggled so much in before."

Izzy's passion for music brings us her shimmering debut, 'Addiction'. Drawing on her past struggles with mental health and using it to inspire her lyrically, Izzy speaks more on the track: "I wrote this song about quite an unusual situation; I was in a psychiatric unit and became involved with a guy who had substance abuse issues. The song delves into the feelings surrounding falling in love or being addicted to someone with a drug addiction. I could have written a very solemn song about my experience but decided to turn the situation on its head and write an upbeat track to make the best out of a bad situation."
With Izzy set to release 'Addiction' April 10th . She's definitely one to watch out for.
