New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Love Me in the Dark has released a new song, called "Circle up the Wagons". The song is sure to please listeners who enjoy country and pop music.
"Circle up the Wagons" starts slow, with a reoccurring loud drum beat and an acoustic guitar accompanying it. Once the lyrics begin ("I can't tel you go/Through this passage on your own"), listeners can immediately tell the song is about someone caring for another person. The following lyrics continue to suggest this, leading up to the chorus. In the chorus, the male vocals are met by a female harmony, with both singing in the classic country music style. Like some other country songs, there is an electric guitar solo following the second chorus. However, the solo is played in a softer and slower tone, more akin to the styles of soft rock or pop than rock.
Love Me in the Dark made the decision to produce a lyric video for "Circle up the Wagons". The concept of the video is simple: put a still image in the background, and have each line fade in and out one at a time in basic black font. The cover image, which brings the listener above the clouds and at the level of the Sun, is a masterpiece itself.
