LOS ANGELES (Top40 Charts/ Warner Bros. Records) - Christofer Drew, the 18-year-old singer-songwriter and guitarist who records under the alias Never Shout Never, has signed with Reprise/Sire Records. His three EP's, including his latest The Summer EP, will be released under Drew's own label Loveway Records and distributed through Reprise/Sire Records. The Summer EP was released on June 23rd and is available through all digital retailers. It currently sits in the Top 10 on iTunes' Top Albums chart. The iTunes version features the bonus track "Liar Liar." In celebration of the release, MySpace is streaming a brand-new song, "I Just Laugh."

Physical versions of The Summer EP are available directly from the www.nevershoutnever.com, in addition to Hot Topic and select Best Buy outlets. Each physical CD includes a download code with loads of extra bonus content including a bonus track, instrumental versions of all songs, wallpapers, and buddy icons.

Never Shout Never is the brainchild of Drew, who was born in San Diego but spent most of his life in Joplin, MO, where he resides when not touring. In 2008, he began writing and recording songs in his basement and self-released The Yippee EP, which has sold more than 30,000 copies and hundreds of thousands of individual tracks. As an unsigned artist, Never Shout Never quickly built a grassroots following via MySpace, where it has been one of the site's top artists for more than a year, averaging more than 100,000 plays a day and racking up more than 77 million total plays.

In October and November 2008, Never Shout Never hit the road with Hellogoodbye, during which time he befriended lead singer Forrest Kline, who produced The Summer EP at his home studio in Long Beach, CA. Never Shout Never then released a second EP, Me & My Uke EP in January 2009 and embarked on a U.S. headlining tour with The Scene Aesthetic, The Honorary Title, and The Bigger Lights with bassist Taylor McFee and drummer Nathan Ellison, followed by the Bamboozle Road Show Tour with We The Kings and Forever The Sickest, among others. Never Shout Never has now been added to the lineup of the first-ever mtvU Sunblock Music Festival alongside Boys Like Girls, Gym Class Heroes, The Academy Is..., and The Veronicas. The tour begins July 23rd in New York City. The band is also confirmed to play the SmartPunk Stage on the Vans Warped Tour July 20th through August 9th.

In the midst of all this, Drew is also working on his first full-length album with noted producer Butch Walker (Katy Perry, Pink, The Academy Is...). More details about the album and a fall U.S. tour will be announced soon. In the meantime, please visit www.nevershoutnever.com for more on this exciting young artist.
