New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Madison Beer releases the melancholically whimsical video for her newest single "Reckless" today. The visual follows the release of the track earlier this month, which was Madison's highest week debut ever on Spotify with over 4 million streams.

In the video, directed by Madison and Amber Park, Madison navigates the confusion of a lover's betrayal inside a surreal story book world. The twisted fairytale is a melancholic but beautiful journey, with Madison emerging from the turmoil in the end as if awoken from a dream.
"I drew a lot of inspiration from classic children's book themes for this video," explains Madison. "I wanted the world for 'Reckless' to feel both disorienting and familiar, like a nightmare where nothing is what it seems and there's no way out. Those are exactly the emotions I've gone through in relationships that have turned sour. When someone you've given all your trust to betrays you, you feel like everything you've ever known was a lie."

The release of the "Reckless" video follows the announcement of Madison's highly anticipated Life Support Tour (encompassing US and Canadian dates in 2021 and UK and European dates in 2022). For a complete list of tour dates and ticket information, visit https://madisonbeer.com/live

KNOW Beauty, a new skincare brand co-founded by Madison and Vanessa Hudgens with Chief Medical Officer Dr. Karen Kagha, also launched this month. The brand combines your lifestyle factors with your genetics to build a more intelligent routine that sets smarter standards for skincare. You can find out more information on KNOW and get started with your own Skin DNA Kit!

Madison's debut album, Life Support, her strongest personal and artistic statement to date, was released earlier this year to critical acclaim. The album has accumulated over 700 million streams to date after debuting at no. 1 on US iTunes, no. 1 on Spotify US's Album Chart, no. 2 on Spotify Global's Album Chart and in the Top 30 of the UK Official Album Chart. Life Support includes singles "Selfish," Madison's fastest ever gold-certified record, and "BOYSHIT," which Billboard called "one of the best pop chorus openings of 2020." She has attracted the endorsements of The Guardian, The Sunday Times, i-D, NME, Clash, V Magazine, Paper, and Rolling Stone (who hailed her a "rising popstar"). Globally, Madison has over 3 billion streams across her catalogue to date, and a social following of over 25 million on Instagram, 14 million on TikTok, and 3 million on Twitter.
