Maggie Rose Named One Of Cmt's "next Women Of Country Live" In New Series

Devoted to giving a voice to the most powerful female singers in the platform, CMT will feature exclusive performances from its roster of "Next Women" each week, with Maggie's performance slated to premiere in September.

With a scene-stealing look and sound, her punk-inspired elegance transcends norms both socially and stylistically, heard best on her latest EP 'The Variety Show - Vol.1' (4.8). Innovative pop melodies -- mixed with blues influences and a strong, roots-country foundation -- showcases Rose's continuous evolving style as "one of country's rising storytellers" (Washington Post) and a torchbearer of the "New Nashville" sound.

CMT's "Next Women of Country" campaign launched in 2013 to bring more attention and airplay to emerging female artists.
