Maya Jane Coles Announces New Music From Her Alter Ego Nocturnal Sunshine On May 25, 2015
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Multi-award winning British-Japanese producer Maya Jane Coles is greeting 2015 with the debut album of her dark and dubby, bass-driven alter ego Nocturnal Sunshine.

Maya is plumbing new artistic depths—Nocturnal Sunshine exemplifying a deep commitment to her own expansive vision. From featuring her own vocals to being clad in artwork Maya created herself, Nocturnal Sunshine is something more of a cohesive artistic project than simply a record; it seems only too appropriate that the completely self-produced album be released on Maya's own label, I/AM/ME.

Accompanied by a hypnotic video directed by The Fashtons, the driving, shuffling "Take Me There" will mark the first taste of Nocturnal Sunshine with a digital release on March 2nd. A limited edition 12" version backed with the otherwise unavailable "Never Too Late" will be available on Record Store Day.

Vocal duties on the album include Maya herself on the chilling "It's Alright", whilst rising star Chelou features on the unsettling and addictive "Believe". Argentina's own Catnapp lends her vocal talents to the darkness of "The River".

Though eminently dark and—at times—menacing, Nocturnal Sunshine is a heady journey steeped in dancefloor tradition; it is a fully realized undertaking that portrays another side of an artist who never shies away from progression.

Tracklisting:
1. Intro (Holding On)
2. Believe ft. Chelou
