Los Angeles, CA. (Top40 Charts/ Pres Pak Public Relations) - Dreams come true for actress, singer and dancer Ashley Argota. She is currently in Hollywood filming 20 episodes of 'True Jackson, VP,' a new sitcom debuting on Nickelodeon this November. Argota co-stars alongside KeKe Palmer ('Akeelah and the Bee,' 'Jump In') as her best friend, Lulu. If that weren't enough, Argota has also completed her debut CD, 'Ashley,' with Los Angeles-based Moho Productions.

'Ashey' is filled with danceable teen pop and heartfelt ballads. The surefire tweener hit, 'Dreams Come True,' presented here in both of her signature styles, could well be about the singer's life. The Dreams Come True Foundation grants 'dreams' to children who are battling life-threatening illnesses. The song was used as the theme for a recent event celebrating the 2000th child helped.

Only 15, Argota has already toured with 'The Lion King,' appeared on the Nickelodon series 'iCarly' and is one of the youngest performers ever to win five times on 'Amateur Night at the Apollo' in New York.

The teen star first began singing at age 2, telling her mother Aurora that she wanted to make music, be on TV and in the movies. Her supportive mother began taking her to auditions, where the younger Argota soon booked her first job, a commercial for 'The Jungle Book 2.' Years later, she'd find herself starring in Disney's hit musical 'The Lion King' as Young Nala and her mother would be right there to help. The only performer in her family, the home-schooled teen and her family work together to help her balance busy days of auditions, shoots, recording sessions and her schoolwork. Believing it important to 'give back', she always finds time to help out in her community.

When she returned home from 'The Lion King' tour, she landed several roles in the popular 'American Girl Revue' at The Grove in Los Angeles, a show based on the American Girl line of dolls. This gave her a chance to perform at Children's Hospitals and other places that let her get out and sing for kids.

Her path to a recording career under her own name was launched in earnest with her unprecedented winning streak at 'Amateur Night at the Apollo'. She went on to be a 'Star of Tomorrow' at 'Showtime at the Apollo.' Since then, she has performed at such venues as Universal Citywalk, The MGM Grand in Las Vegas, and Dodger Stadium.
