Multi-Platinum Artist Bulow Releases Video For New Single "Get Stupid" Out Today
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Award winning and multi-platinum pop iconoclast bülow has released a music video for her new single, "Get Stupid," today via Wax Records / Republic Records/ Universal Music. The track is off the JUNO Award winner's latest EP Crystalline released earlier this year and was produced by Mike Wise, who produced several songs on the EP. When discussing the accompanying video for the song whose concept was envisioned by the singer herself, bülow commented, "When I was younger, I wanted to be an inventor, to create things. I think everybody strives for the feeling of self importance, trying to find their ways to be remembered. My character created a flying device, it didn't work out, but that wasn't the end."

The German-born Toronto-based artist, who made a name for herself with the smash hit, "Not A Love Song," is set to take the stage at multiple festivals this summer including the iconic Lollapalooza in Chicago and Osheaga in Montreal, Canada. This summer's festival run follows bülow's SXSW, Bonnaroo and Bunbury Music Festival debuts earlier this year. In addition to finding success through her own musical endeavors bülow appears on the GRAMMY Award winning duo The Chainsmokers latest single, "Do You Mean," and performed the track on The Today Show in New York City's famed Rockefeller Plaza in June of this year. And while bülow's summer is packed with festival performances, the singer-songwriter has no plans of stopping as she'll be re-joining Lauv's tour this fall after supporting the singers tour dates in Asia earlier this year.

German-born and Toronto-based pop-iconoclast, bülow, first burst onto the music scene with the release of EPs Damaged Vol. 1 & Damaged Vol. 2, each instantly resonating with critics and new fans alike. Damaged Vol. 1 included fan favorite and global hit "Not A Love Song" which to date has clocked over 110 million streams and earned praise as "beautifully crafted" (NME), "pop genius" (Noisey), and a "star in the making" (Pigeon & Planes). Damaged Vol. 2 included "You & Jennifer, "Honor Roll," and buzzworthy "SAD AND BORED," praised by PAPER as, "the perfect pop study in contrasts, and further confirms bülow as an artist to watch with razor-sharp wit to boot." As well as HillyDilly calling her "one of the brightest new talents in pop." Since then, bülow made a splash on the international festival circuit, appearing at both the Electric Picnic and Reading Leeds festivals in Europe and SXSW in Austin, Texas. In the spring of this year bülow accepted her first JUNO Award in March, for Breakthrough Artist of the Year and released her latest body of work, Crystalline. Although bülow has only just begun her musical journey her accomplishments stand tall as an impressive flag-bearer of things to come.
