New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Music Matters) - Music Matters LIVE with H&M, Hong Kong's only FREE LIVE international music festival, is set to rock Hong Kong on Friday 29 and Saturday 30 May 2010. Staged in bars and clubs in Lan Kwai Fong, the city's infamous nightlife hub, Hong Kong's premier music festival brings together a dynamic lineup of 40 international and local bands over two nights of free live performances.

Music Matters LIVE with H&M presents stellar bands from Canada, Australia, USA, China, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Korea, India, Philippines and Mongolia, together with some of Hong Kong's best and most loved home-grown talent.

"Music Matters LIVE with H&M brings a much needed celebration of music to Hong Kong. We are extremely excited about the amazing lineup of bands that will rock the city over the course of the weekend. We want this to be a festival where Hong Kongers can watch, listen, dance and have an awesome party," Music Matters' President Jasper Donat said.

"H&M is proud to be supporting Hong Kong's live music scene. We believe great music and trendy fashion are an international language that brings people of all backgrounds together - you can feel and enjoy them no matter which country you're from. So Wear It Loud at Music Matters LIVE with H&M and enjoy the lineup of independent bands from around the world," said Lex Keijser, Country Manager of H&M Greater China.

"Lan Kwai Fong is Hong Kong's hottest, trendiest night spot. It fits that we would host Hong Kong's first free, live music festival of international independent artists. We look forward to welcoming you the party," said Marisa Zeman, on behalf of Lan Kwai Fong Association.

Music Matters LIVE with H&M is a partnership between Music Matters, H&M, LKF Association and CSL 1010 to support live music in Hong Kong.
