New York, NY (Top40 Charts) GRAVEMIND present "Lifelike," the brand new heavy handed single that oozes cathartic deathcore. It's thick with uncontainable aggression, raging with detail and possesses a penchant for technicality that holds unrelenting attention.

Officially released Friday, April 6th, "Lifelike" was produced by Scottie Simpson + Gravemind and Recorded by Scottie Simpson in December 2017. The track was Mixed + Mastered by Lance Prenc and features additional vocals by Joshua Renjen.
"Lifelike" is available now on all digital outlets. Grab your copy now at: gravemindofficial.com

On the concept behind "Lifelike" GRAVEMIND vocalist Dylan Gillies-Parsons comments, "Lifelike is about being alive, but not really being there at all. It's about being born against your will, and the reality that some day soon, we all die. We wanted to drop the metaphors and narrative for this release, and really be honest with the listener. It was our intention to write a song that is intrinsically Gravemind, but also very unique from our previous releases. It has been the hardest song to write lyrically, and the whole creation process this time around has been exceptionally draining, but for good cause. This song is about us, all of us, because no one can escape from this."

GRAVEMIND exploded onto the metal scene with The Hateful One EP at the close of 2015, and quickly followed up their success with their ARIA charting EP, The Deathgate. Tapping from the well of extraordinary Australian deathcore; GRAVEMIND have featured both CJ McMahon from THY ART IS MURDER, and Mark Poida from AVERSIONS CROWN on their records and will continue to blaze their own path with the release of their new single "Lifelike." Currently GRAVEMIND boasts over 200,000 streams on YouTube and Spotify independently and are quickly making a name for themselves at home and internationally. Stay tuned for even more from Melbourne's GRAVEMIND.
