New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Today, GRAMMY nominated OneRepublic released their new song, "Better Days", via Interscope Records/Universal Music. Alongside the track, OneRepublic also released a visualizer for the song. "Better Days" was written and produced by Ryan Tedder, Brent Kutzle and John Nathaniel and co-produced by Tyler Spry. The song, recorded over the past week, is from their new album, HUMAN. Human will include previously released singles "Rescue Me", "Somebody To Love", "Wanted", and "Didn't I".

OneRepublic and Interscope Records will donate a portion of the proceeds from the streaming of "Better Days" through September 2020 to benefit MusiCares® who have established the COVID-19 Relief Fund to help those in the music community affected by the Coronavirus pandemic.

On writing the song, Ryan says, "We were in the final week of our fifth album deadline when a global pandemic was declared by the WHO. A few of us unknowingly got exposed to somebody with Covid-19 in London and ended up in quarantine in LA at my studio for two weeks. With only two songs left to finish, one of them happened to be "Better Days". We write about real experiences and events that happen to us - this is what happens when you write a song during a crisis."

As part of the release, OneRepublic is also inviting fans to collaborate on their music video for "Better Days". Launched yesterday, OneRepublic wants fans to share their videos at home, sharing acts of kindness. They want to hear from first responders, survivors, volunteers on how they are keeping healthy, what they are cooking, how they are virtually staying connected with friends and family, how their pets are keeping them company, and safely sending footage of your neighborhood or city and how's it's changed and anything else that creatively expresses what you are doing while staying safe and staying home. They will collect videos from fans over the next few days using the Cinebody app.

Grammy nominated OneRepublic, is comprised of singer/songwriter and lead vocalist Ryan Tedder, guitarists Zach Filkins and Drew Brown, bassist and cellist Brent Kutzle, and drummer Eddie Fisher. The band released their debut set Dreaming Out Loud in 2007. The release included the multi-platinum-selling smash single "Apologize," which shattered digital sales and airplay records worldwide and received a Grammy Award nomination. The band's sophomore album, 2009's Waking Up, produced the hit singles "All the Right Moves," "Secrets" and "Good Life." The certified-platinum album Native followed in 2013, featuring the No.1 hit and 33 million plus-selling single "Counting Stars," along with a worldwide tour. OneRepublic released Oh My My, their fourth full-length album in 2016. This past spring, the band released "Start Again ft. Logic," a song featured on the soundtrack for the Netflix drama 13 Reasons and "Connection" which was part of FCA's Summer of Jeep campaign. OneRepublic has amassed 5B streams on Spotify to date. OneRepublic's new singles, "Rescue Me," "Somebody To Love", "Wanted", and "Didn't I", are out now.
