New York, NY (Top40 Charts) New Atlantic Records signee Pardison Fontaine releases his first single and companion video for "Backin' It Up" featuring labelmate Cardi B. "Backin' It Up" marks Pardison's debut single for Atlantic Records, on which his clever and dynamic rhymes take center stage as Cardi delivers a knockout cameo. The track paves the way for Pardison's first major label EP to come later this year. Of the track Pardison says, "It's more of an introduction. I'm catching up fans who have known about me for a long time and introducing myself as an artist to new audiences."

Pardison Fontaine, the Newburgh, NY rapper, grew up in a musical family and began singing in his church choir at a young age alongside his brother. Inspired by the greats, namely DMX and Kanye West, Pardison transformed into a passionate student of the rap game. He uploaded his music to MySpace in high school, generating a local buzz, and then developing his personal style in a makeshift dorm room studio in college.
Pardison's first single "Oyy" turned into a strip club sensation throughout New York and paved the way for his 2015 debut mixtape, "Not Supposed To Be Here." Garnering credits as a frequent collaborator and co-writer for the likes of Kanye West and labelmate Cardi B, Pardison is now gearing up to take center stage as an artist in his own right.
