New York, NY (Top40 Charts) PARAFRAME is the new artist designate from writer, director, producer, composer & consummate artistic all-rounder, Pavel Khvaleev. In its original forms, PARAFRAME releases consciously uncouple from the club, refocusing instead on other electronic music quarters. Addressing airwaves and aftershow moments, they triangulate exceptional vocals, involved lyrics and higher functioning productions to deliver timeless music.
In preparation throughout 2020, PARAFRAME is set to release a pair of long-players over 2021's course, the starting point for which is today, and the ethereally unforgettable 'Sappho Blend'.
Making for the most potent of collaborations, the track finds PARAFRAME in artistic union with songstress-cum-storyteller, Abra Taylor. Supremely well versed in the moodier lyrical arts (think a more vampish
Lorde or Lana del Rey with enhanced fatale), the Toronto-ian chanteuse intoxicates at every turn. Her smoky vocal verses sink into every corner of PARAFRAME's wondrously nuanced, cinematically theatrical production, before her chorus sets it ablaze.
While PARAFRAME's music remains the preserve of the at-home & post-club play, each single-step of the way will be aftertouched by Pavel's floor-moving remixes. His rework of 'Sappho Blend' sets the track on a progressive-trance footing, as its sounds & FX aim it squarely at those darker, more cultured club corners.
