Reagan Browne's New Single "Still That Boy From Texas," Available This Month
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Reagan Browne's debut single, "I'm Still That Boy From Texas," to be released later this month, epitomizes the essence of his music and his soul. Reagan explains, "I think my southern personality comes out in my music whether I know it or not. You can't hide your roots, there's definitely an element in my music that exudes Southern Rock but it's not over the top. There's just that flair… it's embedded in my blood and I cherish it."

Reagan's musical heroes are diverse from Chris Cornell (Soundgarden, Temple Of The Dog, Audioslave) to Jimi Hendrix. His incredible 5-octave range is versatile and powerful. His live shows bring back the exuberance and fire of David Lee Roth combined with the intensity of Robert Plant. His new 5 song release includes some of Rock's heroes and is the perfect platform for his vocal prowess and original storytelling. Reagan is humble and thankful that he was able to work with such an amazing group of musicians. He adds, "I'm so lucky to have friends in high places."

According to Music Connection Magazine, "Browne is an L.A.-based singer-songwriter, with a multi-octave range that draws from the Cornell/Coverdale/Rodgers school of soul and emotion. A lot of ground is covered on his E.P. starting with the high energy '80s/'90s rock of "Gotta Get Loose." The auto-biographical "Still That Boy from Texas" is a sonically dynamic power ballad for dreamers. "Killing Me is Your Thing" is about as raw and heartfelt as it gets. "Followed by Ravens" features epic melody and vivid storytelling while "Loud but Unheard" is a rock & roll tour de force, with guest Marty Friedman on lead guitar. There is a pervasive sense of urgency in Browne's voice that permeates each track. The result is a very "live" in the studio performance."

Additionally, the song was included in the soundtrack for the Spitlight Pictures' romantic comedy, "The Wedding Pact."

Classic Rock Magazine adds, "(Reagan Browne) was born in Texas, he has a five-octave vocal range and he's already set tongues wagging, eliciting comparisons with David Coverdale and Chris Cornell. Could Browne be the next AOR sensation? On this evidence, you wouldn't bet against it."

The second single, "Killing Me Is Your Thing" highlights acclaimed double bassist Billy Sheehan (David Lee Roth, Steve Vai, Mr. Big, Niacin, UFO, Michael Schenker, Talas). The third song on the EP "Loud But Unheard" showcases the guitar brilliance of Marty Friedman (formerly of Megadeth). The record also contains a song with Phil X who has worked with everyone from Daughtry to Kelly Clarkson and Bon Jovi.

Since 2007, Reagan has earned his stripes on the road. After that, he was voted the Clear Channel IHeart Radio- Artist To Watch. His song "Goodbye L.A." hit number 1 on their Rock chart and beat out other bands on major labels. Right after that, Reagan was chosen by ITunes as one of their Rocker On The Rise artists.

No matter what obstacles Reagan has faced, his Southern roots have always been the stabilizing factors that have given him the strength to carry on and to succeed. Stay tuned for tour dates, coming shortly…
