Record Action At The Sturgis Buffalo Chip CrossRoads In 2015
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) The Buffalo Chip's CrossRoads will be home to a record number of events, vendors, contests, shows and fun in 2015.

A bevy of bikini bike washes, motorcycle mechanics, innovative accessories, tasty treats, hearty home-cooked meals, strange potions and cold beverages all combine to make this the rally's premier activity center.

To celebrate the 75th anniversary of the rally, the Sturgis Buffalo Chip® has arranged for more live entertainment, motorcycle shows, exhibits and unique events than ever before at its free-access CrossRoads destination. Motorcycle legends, incredible stunts, beautiful custom bikes, bikini-clad babes, world-class live music and some of the rally's best shopping, eats and drinks will all be found at the CrossRoads this year, all without a cover charge.

The CrossRoads is slated to hold five days of motorcycle shows to make bikers drool and voyeurs dream Sunday, Aug. 2-Thursday, Aug. 6. The world famous Rat's Hole Custom Bike Show will fill the CrossRoads on Thursday, Aug. 6. As Sturgis' largest and longest-running bike show, the show typically attracts over one-hundred bikes. Other shows, hosted by iconic motorcycle publications Full Throttle, American Iron and Cycle Source Magazines will run daily Sunday, Aug. 2 - Wednesday, Aug. 5. The Jägermeister Stage at the CrossRoads will offer live music Friday, July 24 through Saturday, Aug. 8. The first-ever, free Pre-Rally Party will kick things off Friday, July 24 through Sunday, July 26 with chart-topping band Pop Evil, as well as Red Sun Rising, ONE - The Only Tribute to Metallica, Lola Black, Scorpion Child, The Living Deads and others, Three-day camping and VIP passes are available for this exciting new event. Live music on the Jägermeister Stage continues daily through the rally.

The most famous motorcycle daredevil of all time, Evel Knievel, will make a prominent appearance at the CrossRoads in the extraordinary Evel Knievel Thrill Show.® The show, located in a large tent adjacent to the CrossRoads Bar, will offer an intimate peek into the legendary stuntman's life and career with X-rays of his many broken bones, costumes, motorcycles, Skycycle X-2 and many other curiosities for an entry fee of $10 per person. Knievel's newly restored Mack truck, dressing room on wheels, Big Red, will also be open and on display. Nearly everything Knievel owned through his extraordinary career will be at the CrossRoads for a once-in-a-lifetime showing. Knievel's own Harley Davidson XR-750 will make an appearance in the Chip's amphitheater on Thursday, Aug. 6 as Doug Danger puts it into flight and attempts to break Evel's record by jumping it over 22 cars.

The iconic Budweiser Clydesdales will return to be stabled at the CrossRoads beginning the third week of July. These massive show horses will be on display daily and can occasionally be observed hitched for parades and events. Typically included in the team are one or two stars from Budweiser's award-winning commercials.

The regal beauty of the Seattle Cossacks performing precisely engineered acrobatics atop magnificent two-wheeled machines will bring an air of grace and incredible excitement to the CrossRoads. The troupe will perform its show three times each day Tuesday, Aug. 4 through Thursday, Aug. 6, with the famed "Wall of Fire" stunt performed nightly at 7 p.m.

Eagle 75, the world's largest human and motorcycle eagle will be formed at the CrossRoads on Thursday, Aug. 6. The public is encouraged to participate and contribute to this colossal performance art.

The attempt to break the Guinness World's Record for the most people in one spot all wearing only knickers or panties, will be a spectacle worth viewing. All are encouraged to come and have breakfast in their undies with this world record crowd, and help the cause, on Wednesday, Aug. 5 at 9 a.m.

Husker Helicopters offers guests the ride of their lives and a bird's-eye view of the 75th rally. Stationed at the entrance to the CrossRoads, it will be difficult to miss this state-of-the-art Eurocopter.

Vendors at the CrossRoads ranging from classic to crazy offer shoppers a vast array of wares. Buffalo Chip Fan Fest, held on Sunday, Aug. 2, offers a collection of the zaniest contests on the planet and a chance to earn magnificent prizes such as 75th anniversary themed guitars, prize packs and passes to the Chip's 35th anniversary celebration in 2016. The CrossRoads Bar is open at noon daily beginning July 3 with extended hours beginning Friday, July 24 for the Pre-Rally Party.
