Renowned Gospel Artist Gary Samuels, Singer To The Pope & Presidents, Pours Heartaches & Triumphs Into New Single "Grace Of God"
New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Tehillah Enterprises) Gospel artist Gary Samuels has been through it all. Trials that many of us hope to never encounter, he's experienced first-hand. Bouts with cancer, paralysis, partial blindness, and the death of a child are some of the life-changing challenges he's had to endure. Knowing that it all works for his good, the unparalleled vocalist has taken each and every ordeal and poured it into his music.

A five-octave range and a tonal quality that rivals some of today's best singers, Gary Samuels is truly a divine instrument used to inspire. His latest EP from Versatile Entertainment, Grace of God, contains the breathtaking title tune. The song reminds the believer of Satan's intention upon the life of the believer and the victorious power of God's grace. Serviced to radio by Edmondson Communications, Inc., the track is grabbing listeners from note one. The single will be available for purchase on iTunes on Tuesday, April 17, 2012.

Having experienced total healing, Samuels hopes "Grace of God" encourages all who hear it. "When I sing about God's healing power and his saving power, it's not from a movie screen or something someone told me," says Samuels. It's what I know. I know it for myself."

Grace of God is the third release from the Harlem, NY-based artist. Success in the music industry has never eluded the singer with an entry for the 2010 BET Awards for Best Gospel Video and critically-acclaimed runs of his autobiographical play, "Gospel of Blues". He's been blessed to sing for President Bill Clinton, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, President George Bush, Pope John Paul II and Nelson Mandela. He's performed at The Apollo and Radio City Music Hall and sung with Opera Diva Grace Bumbry and Jazz Great Wynton Marsalis. Also, he's opened up for Gospel Artists Kelly Price, Donnie McClurkin, and Mary Mary and headlined a concert with Kim Burrell in 2011.

One of fifteen children, he was surrounded by music with a father who was a Jazz pianist, and a mother who was a pianist and singer. After honing his chops at church, he sung for countless choirs including the Martin Luther King, Jr. Choir and The United Negro College Fund Choir. As he continued to sing, his love for the musical art form grew, but it always seemed like he was the loudest in the bunch. "I was always referred to as 'big mouth,'" recalls Gary. "I just couldn't sing soft - although I tried. People would tell me that in a group of dozens of singers, they could hear me!" He loved singing gospel music, but it wasn't until his cancer diagnosis in 1984 when his calling in Gospel Music was solidified. After a miraculous healing, he knew that God still had His hand on him.

Now with the release of his new single, he has an opportunity to tell the world about the favor of God on his life. "'Grace of God' is my testimony," says Samuels. "Satan not only wanted my life, but he wanted my soul. But God said, 'not so'."
