NEW YORK (Top40 Charts) Rihanna has broken a chart record previously held by the Queen of Pop, Madonna, after her new single entered the Billboard Hot 100 at No 9.
The Bajan beauty's new track, 'We Found Love', marked her 20th single to reach the Top Ten and it has made her the fastest solo artist in history to achieve this impressive feat.
Madonna managed to set the record in 1990 when her 20th single, 'Hanky Panky, entered the Hot 100's Top Ten and it has now been both matched and beaten by Rihanna, whose top 20 singles to date are as follows:
