Rihanna Concert At Allianz Stadium In Nice, France Canceled
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Due to the tragic events in Nice and in consultation with the authorities, the Rihanna concert scheduled for July 15 at Allianz Stadium will not be going ahead as planned.
Our thoughts are with the victims and their families."

The 28-year-old singer was in Nice when the attack occurred, however her rep confirmed that she is safe.

Christian Estrosi, president of the PACA region of France and the former mayor of Nice, confirmed the news that both Rihanna's concert, as well as the Nice Jazz Festival, had been cancelled.

A Bastille Day fireworks celebration was shattered by death and mayhem Thursday night in the southern French city of Nice when a large truck barreled for more than a mile through an enormous crowd of spectators, crushing and maiming dozens in what Frances president called a terrorist assault. It came eight months after the Paris attacks that traumatized the nation and all of Europe.
Officials and witnesses in Nice said at least 84 people, including children, were killed by the driver of the rampaging truck, who mowed them down on the sidewalk. He was shot to death by the police as officers scrambled to respond on what is Frances most important annual holiday.
