Sacramento Honky Tonk Trio "Million Dollar Giveaway" Releases New EP

New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Popular Sacramento honky tonk trio Million Dollar Giveaway have released their second EP titled "Ain't got you". The band decided to forego the traditional recording process and recorded everything live, in their practice space without overdubs. "We wanted to capture the energy of our live shows on this album." says Ryan Thompson, lead singer and songwriter of the band. "People are always amazed at how much sound we create with just the three of us. I think that really comes through in this recording."

The new EP features straight ahead honky tonk tunes as well as more introspective tunes such as "Letter to Jesus".

Million Dollar Giveaway will be celebrating the release of the new album on 12/20/15 at Sutter Creek Provision (Sutter Creek, CA) and on 12/26/15 at Lagunitas Taproom in Petaluma, CA.

About the Band
Million Dollar Giveaway is an Americana musical trio from the Sacramento Valley. Front man Ryan Thompson's original songs are soaked in traditional country and blues themes such as drink in', leavin', lovin', hurtin' and more drinkin'. Nick Carvajal displays his wide array of talents on the electric guitar, harmonica, suitcase drum kit and back up vocals. Tyler Kinney joined in 2015 to lend his talents on upright bass and vocals. MDG strips away the excess and gets down to the roots of the country/americana sound.
