San Francisco (Top40 Charts/ Indie Abundance) - Today Chantelle Tibbs, Deborah Crooks and Emily Bonn, three San Francisco based independent musicians, announced the launch of 'Indie Abundance: Music, Money & Mindfulness Tour '09, a music and education initiative that combines gigs at music venues with live and online video workshops to demonstrate the tips and tools they employ to thrive as artists. Kicking off the tour with a performance and BBQ party at El Rio, at 1pm on August 30 in San Francisco, CA, The Indie Abundance team will give fans access to their music as well as lifestyle tips during a week's worth of shows and workshops in California, Oregon and Washington.

With expertise spanning financial management, multi-instrumentalism and yoga training in addition to their commitment to songwriting, Tibbs, Crooks and Bonn will share the music, money and mindfulness tools they've garnered during their more than 40 years combined experience as creative artists and performers. On tour, they'll offer live and online versions of an 'Indie Abundance Toolkit to music fans, sponsors and tour partners. Their goal is to inspire greater social, economic and cultural participation by artists within their communities. 'We want to give back in any way we can,' says Chantelle Tibbs, co-founder and Money Representative at Indie Abundance. 'We're offering people resources for living well in less than favorable times.'

Co-founder Emily Bonn, who plays in several Bay Area bands as well as teaching music, is the bearer of Music Expertise at Indie Abundance. "We're always looking for ways to share our music, and this a way to have a great time gigging and help others succeed.'

'We've figured out various ways to create and release our music as independent artists: I've counted my faith practices as key to forging a path,' adds co-founder Deborah Crooks who represents the Mindfulness part of the Indie Abundance equation. 'By combining our individual strengths at Indie Abundance we're creating new maps for living a creative life.'

The Indie Abundance Tour kicks off at El Rio, August 30, 1-3pm, San Francisco, featuring sets by the artists and their bands, BBQ and raffle prizes from Indie Abundance, and sponsors including Daisy Rock Guitars, City CarShare, and The Pie Truck. 'We're all excited to be a part of an effort that could transform the lives of others,' said Tibbs. 'Plus it's going to be a great time.'
