New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Say She She will release their full length debut - Prism - on October 7 (Karma Chief Records). The album injects funk and pop with a heavy dose of dance and disco beats and a wide range of inspirations: Indian legend Asha Puthli, David Macuso's loft parties, Turkish funk, Rotary Club, Stax soul groups and more, carving their own corner and coining their own crate of Discodelic Soul. On Prism, this dazzling harmonizing trio of frontwomen are joined by a roaring roster of musicians that includes members of The Dap-Kings, The Extraordinaires, The Shacks, Twin Shadow and Chicano Batman.

Today's new single, "Pink Roses," is the latest taste of Prism and they've announced a West Coast tour for November to go along with the news. "Pink Roses," produced by Chicano Batman frontman Bardo Martinez, starts with a driving post-punk disco beat before the three frontwomen of Say She She - Piya Malik, Sabrina Mileo Cunningham and Nya Gazelle Brown - sing about cosmic love in perfect unison. Written in remembrance of Sabrina's mother on the anniversary of her passing, the song is sweet, elegant and designed to lift the spirits, just like her mother's favorite flowers.

KCRW recently named Prism #1 on their just-published Top 30 albums listand Say She She recently recorded a ripping live session for Paste, received key spins across several influential shows on BBC Radio and Gilles Peterson's WorldWide FM and their music is featured as the key sync in the trailer for Lena Dunham's upcoming movie Sharp Stick.

Say She She just played a number of festivals in the UK and their debut headline gig in London sold out in a few days, and are a must watch at the weekend's Rough Trade Indieplaza Festiva at Rockefeller Center in NYC (September 18). See below for their full fall itinerary and newly announced West Coast tour, when they'll be on the road with their 7 piece live band.

Say She She has been releasing stand-alone non-album singles since February, with "Forget Me Not," a gritty funk send-up inspired by NYC's Guerilla Girls that made a huge first splash. "Trouble" recently hit #7 on KCRW's Top 30, and "Norma," was just released, their protest anthem written in response to the decision to overturn Roe v Wade.
