New York, NY (Top40 Charts) DC's soulful electro-pop trio SHAED is excited to announce its new EP Melt - due out July 27th via NYC's Photo Finish Records. The 6-song EP sees the band returning with singer Chelsea Lee's expansive vocal-range and powerful melodies over twin brothers Spencer and Max Ernst's unique electronic production and sound design. SHAED has also dropped a new single titled "Trampoline," which is premiering today via Live Nation's Ones To Watch and will be available to stream and purchase tomorrow May 18th on all DSPs as the band begins to wrap a two week tour with X Ambassadors and Jacob Banks.

It's been almost two years since we released our debut ep. In that time, we've experienced so much - between all the touring, meeting new artists, moving in together (yes, we all live together), and getting engaged... a lot has changed. Throughout that time, we've been writing and recording - the highs, the lows, the in-betweens. This Melt EP touches on all those wonderful and complex experiences we've shared. - SHAED

Chelsea, her fiancée Spencer, and Max have had an extremely tight bond since High School; just last year the trio moved into a house together that doubled as a recording studio where they tracked and produced a majority of Melt - the highly anticipated follow-up to the band's 2016 debut EP Just Wanna See, which drew praise from Interview Magazine, NYLON, V Magazine, Billboard, BULLETT, The Washington Post, The Washington Blade and more. Between EPs SHAED toured with the likes of Marian Hill,VÉRITÉ, Bishop Briggs, Coast Modern and Sir Sly, recorded Spotify Singles and VEVO dcvr sessions, and released two incredible stand-alone singles, "Too Much" and "Lonesome." In addition, the band made debut appearances at Billboard's Hot 100 Festival, Summerfest, Mamby on the Beach, Electric Forest and Firefly, and recently secured a sync for "Name On It" in a national ad campaign with Victoria's Secret.

SHAED continues to build momentum in 2018 with the release of Melt this Summer onJuly 27th. You can get a taste of the forthcoming EP with the band's new single "Trampoline," which is available on all DSPs tomorrow, and be sure to catch the band on the last few days of its tour with X Ambassadors and Jacob Banks. Electro-pop trio SHAED has just given fans their first new treat of the year. As we approach the July 27 release date of their upcoming EP Melt, Ones to Watch is excited to premiere their new single "Trampoline," allowing for a glimpse into what their sophomore project should entail.

Comprised of twin brothers Spencer and Max Ernst, as well as Chelsea Lee who is engaged to the former sibling, SHAED is a tightly knit-group that unsurprisingly radiates sonic chemistry on "Trampoline." Lee's vocals ascend over the brooding instrumental until casually dropping off on the chorus, as pulsating synths propel the song forward. After turning heads with their debut EP Just Wanna See, "Trampoline" is proof that the group has no plans of slowing down, and little reason to do so.
