Shania Twain Cancels May & June Las Vegas Residency Dates
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Shania Twain's Las Vegas residency is on hiatus until August 2020.
Shania Twain released a statement yesterday, April 11, on Instagram announcing the postponement. "To all my fans," she opens. "My Let's Go! Las Vegas Residency scheduled for May 20 through June 6 at Zappos Theater are no longer able to happen in accordance with CDC recommendations regarding events," she says. "Tickets for affected shows will be refunded at the point of purchase within 30 days," she adds.

She continued, "I'm looking forward to returning to Las Vegas later in the year with my dates from August through to December, but for now it's time to stay home" before concluding her message with "We're all in this together! Love Shania."

Ticketholders can receive refunds at point of purchase within 30 days. For an alternative Vegas vibe, check out casino.com. The show started on December 6 and has seen massive success already with sold-out shows at the Zappos Theater at the Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Her previous residency concert also had a successful run at Caesars Palace from December 2012 until the end of 2014 and she also performed on her 2015 'Rock This Country Tour' and her 2018 'Now Tour'.

In new guidance posted by the CDC, the body has shared some clear instructions for those looking to hold events and mass gatherings with separate guidelines for areas with no spread of COVID-19 along with areas with moderate or minimal spread and areas of substantial spread.
