LONDON, UK (Reuters) - Six new releases have transformed the top 10 of Britain's charts, with a dance floor debut from Daniel Bedingfield ousting teen band S Club 7 from the top spot after only one week.

Bedingfield's "Gotta Get Through This" was a hit in the Cypriot clubbing capital Ayia Napa this summer and its debut in the charts on Sunday pushed S Club 7's "Have You Ever" down to No. 2, according to the Official UK Charts Company.

Russia's PPK made its first appearance in the UK charts at number three with "Resurection," the first Russian act to achieve a British top 10 hit.

Also new at number four was "Everybody," the third single from Britain's made-on-TV band Hear'say.

"Titanic" star Kate Winslet's single "What If," from the soundtrack of the animated movie "A Christmas Carol," entered the charts at number six, while former Spice Girl Geri Halliwell's latest offering, "Calling," came in at number 7.

The final new entry was London dance act Basement Jaxx with "Where's Your Head At" at number nine.

This week's biggest chart faller was Irish supergroup U2. The band's single "Walk On" fell to 27 from No. 5.
