Vegas & Like Mike, has been announced as one of the cast members in the fifth instalment of the Rambo movie franchise. Reported to be Rambo's last adventure, this fifth movie in the franchise will see Rambo forced back into action after a friend's daughter has been kidnapped by the Mexican cartel. The new Rambo V: Last Blood movie will be directed by Adrian Grunberg, who previously made action drama Get the
Gringo featuring Mel Gibson and will be released in theatres worldwide on
September 20th 2019.
The brothers are also launching their latest single today, 'Best
Friends Ass', a collaboration with the icon socialite that is Paris Hilton. The unique track will follow up with a video starring the likes of Kim Kardashian and Chuck Liddell. As a DJ and producer, Dimitri Vegas, alongside his brother Like Mike, have worked with artists that includes A-list names such as Wiz Khalifa, Ne-Yo, Diplo,
David Guetta, Marin Garrix, Gucci Mane,
Snoop Dogg and Hans Zimmer. On the road, the duo have headlined many of the world's biggest stages such as EDC Las Vegas, EXIT festival, Electric Zoo NY and Creamfields, alongside being the being the official mainstage resident for the 180,000 capacity Belgian festival, Tomorrowland.
Beyond his music career, Dimitri's profile as an actor continues to flourish. Having previously appeared alongside Belgian film legend Jean-Claude Van Damme is in action movie Lukas, as well as a role in the third feature film 'Patser' from Moroccan directors Adil El Arbi & Bilall Falah (Directors of the new Bad Boys film starring
Will Smith and
Martin Lawrence). His love for acting as also led him down the path of voice over roles where he previously took on a dubbing role in Disney's blockbuster Big Hero 6 and
Peter Parker in the animated film Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse. With more movie credits and announcements coming up in the near future, Dimitri's path as actor and movie producer has only begun.
