Radio 1's Live Lounge Month will return for
September 2022, with WILLOW, The 1975 and
Wet Leg among those set to perform as well as two more huge names to be announced in the coming weeks.
Kicking off on Monday 5
September and running throughout the month every Monday to
Thursday with Rickie and Melvin (10.30am-1pm), some of the hottest acts from the UK and beyond will take to the world-famous
Radio 1 Live Lounge to perform a mix of their own songs and surprise covers. All performances will take place at 12pm.

Radio 1's Live Lounge attracts some of the biggest artists on the planet, with alumni including Ed Sheeran,
Ariana Grande and Jay Z. Past Live Lounge tracks from Miley Cyrus, 30 Seconds To Mars,
Dua Lipa and
Bruno Mars have attracted over 50 million views each on
Radio 1's YouTube channel.
Rickie and Melvin say: "We're so excited that Live Lounge Month is back for another year- it's going to be BIG! We'll be bringing our listeners their favourite artists whether they are returning to the Live Lounge or making their debut performance, it's set to be another epic month."
